Nepal has such diversity that you may go in a few kilometers from the highest peaks in the world to the luscious forest of the Terai plains in the south. It is there that a flora and animals protected in the Chitwan National Park emerge. It is the largest reserve with 976km and the most intriguing since the vegetal and animal worlds are represented in all their forms: more rhinoceroses, bears, leopards, wild boars, crocodiles, antelopes, and around 400 different types of birds. You will explore this wild environment on the back of an elephant or in a barque; perhaps you will spot the regal Bangal Tiger. The park is 160 kilometers south of Kathmandu and takes around 5 hours to reach.
